The UiO team

Tine and Jan belong to the Conservation Studies group in the Department of Archaeology, Conservation and History were they develop their research in the field of conservation. Remarkable is their involvement in the Munch Aula Painting project (conservation and preservation of Edvard Munch’s paintings in the University Aula of Oslo), in which Tine acts as PI since late 2005.

The role of the UiO team in ENCLOSURE will be to prepare the mock-ups of soiled canvas paintings and conduct their ageing. They will also contribute to the testing of the developed materials.
